Day before vacation is always oddly exhausting. But whoo, vacation!

A poll as I go: Are there any movies that portray career-focused women in a positive light? I am simply wondering. Both The Devil Who Wears Prada and The Pursuit of Happiness were on today.

The dermatologist had a look and said, "I am very unimpressed with this mole. Come back if it starts looking scary."

My mole has suffered a serious blow to its self-esteem.

(But I do not, obviously, have cancer.)

Just finished this book by C.S. Friedman and I think I might have to reread it to decide if I like it. Oh, I certainly don't dislike it. C.S. Friedman understands what 'alien' means more than most science fiction writers or otherwise. She can convey 'strangeness' or 'otherness' quickly and convincingly.
