Philosophy is so invigorating! I have more energy when I came out of the discussion than I had when I went into it. The people are still kind of frustrating. The seem to pay no attention to the actual text at all and go off on random tangents and comments. No one cited the text. You were right, I was wrong. Life is good. Christmas is good. Our tree is up and it looks very pretty and we have Christmas things up all over the house. All is festive. I got to tramp around outside in the frosty windy air clipping branches off bushes to make a wreath. It was very cold and my hands feel full of tiny splinters but it was nice. ( Read more... )

A, so balanced, clean, pure, straight. You are a letter of stability and artistry. Where would we B without U, O A? Certainly not in Africa, Asia, or America. Not in the ocean, the earth. or in space. Oh A, without you, where would beauty be?

Maybe someday Susan will get her fair treatment, but until then we have this version of Narnia and it is beautiful. Not perfect, but incredibly lovely.

I really am disliking self pity this year and am trying not to engage in it. I wish sometimes though that other people would pity me even though I don't want to pity myself. I wish I was ever in a bad mood because then people would be obligated to try and cheer me up.

I also wish for a million dollars and a pony and my homework to be done.
