Hogle Zoo had a new event this year - Zoo Lights. You can check out the pictures I took at my photo blog (click here.) I really wasn't the best prepared for taking these light pictures - I did bring a tripod, but I still haven't experimented and used all the functions that would make these pictures stellar - but there were a few excellent ones ( Read more... )

I've been thinking about my presence here on LJ for the past few days, and I've made some final decisions regarding it. To reassure your minds immediately, I am not leaving LJ. But I am making some changes, and will likely make my presence here much softer.

Who you once were, or who you could or should be, does not matter. What only matters is who you are right now.

The present moment is a gift rarer than precious stones. Don't waste it by judging yourself against what once was, or what might be. Focus on what is now.
