Where are my specs, dammit?

I've worn glasses since I was eleven, and until about a year ago I used to wear them all the time, so wondering where I'd left them has rarely ever been an issue. My eyesight isn't too terrible, but I'm short-sighted so I really need them to focus properly on anything more than a few feet away, and although I could do close work with or without

There is possibly some logic in it in that I'd grab some fruit for work, but I don't think it was a conscious thought....
