It's spider weather. Nasty, evil-looking monsters that sneak in through the open windows and hide in awkward places.... Yes, there's one in my shower curtain! :o

I've worn glasses since I was eleven, and until about a year ago I used to wear them all the time, so wondering where I'd left them has rarely ever been an issue. I eventually discovered Flight of the Conchords last year (long after the TV show had ended, of course), and got somewhat addicted - especially to their live performances (thanks to YouTube *g*). They've just started touring again - just NZ and Oz so far, but really hoping they'll come to Europe and I can get to see them live myself.

Got home this evening to discover an orange goo oozing out of my kitchen cupboard, all over the top of the fridge (and everything stored up there), down the side and onto the floor.... Here in the UK, where all you ever hear about our weather is that it rains all the time (including today), we're about to have hosepipe bans imposed in a number of regions starting from tomorrow because it hasn't rained enough (or rather too much water is being used/wasted).... :(

I thought my fridge was inexplicably whiffy, but it turns out that my freezer had spontaneously defrosted itself. Again. It's now emptied and cleaned, and I think it's time to stop using it altogether because it's so unreliable. It's hard enough finding parking spaces when I get home late of an evening, but made all the more frustrating when people park so inconsiderately.
