It's been tipping down all evening, the neighbours have their TV on really loud again, and the fireworks have been on the go for ages. But I have lots of cheese and pear cider.... *hic!* ;)

Note to self: there are some shows that should not be watched while eating. If the show is Fringe or Bones that applies to just about every episode, so plan accordingly.

Had a follow-up appointment with my surgeon today and he's so delighted with my progress that I'm only getting 2 more weeks to recuperate, so I'll be going back to work on the 5th. Which is fine by me actually - I have a whole load of regular tasks that'll need completing by the end of the quarter anyway, and after 6 weeks out of the office there' ( Read more... )
