I saw my grandmother for the last time today before I go to Texas. I'd rehersed this meeting in my mind several times, and I think I nearly started crying each time. But when it came time to tell her bye today, I just told her that I'd probably see her at Christmas. She said that was probably false, as she'd be dead by then. i went to st. louis to compete in 200lb class of st. louis strongest man. i won 4 out of 5 events and dominated the overall LW division. had to cut 14 lbs in 5 days to get down to 200.

on another note, i took batting practice for the first time in years today. My dad pitched about 35 balls and I knocked several out of the park. It's satisfying to at least know that i can still hit a ball over a fence.

it finally happened. i got so fat that i had to go on a diet. fuck.
