A sketchy bar on the mainland, Tuesday evening
Honestly, Bruce had spent a lot of free nights in this bar and others like it. Usually he was alone, maybe wearing a simple disguise, and just observing. This way he could get a feel for what kind of people came to places like this for reasons less anthropological than his. Due to, frankly, an obsessive amount of research considering how long a drive it was to Baltimore, Bruce knew pretty much all the details of an arms deal happening at this very warehouse on this very night. All in all, it had been a good night. Bruce had a very nice date, won the biggest crown of his high school career, received a strategic breakdown on how to fight beings with gravity powers (you never know when that might be useful), and afterwards...
