My research paper has been focusing on adolescents and their process of maturing relationships using internet based tools. One study from the Journal of Adolescent Research specifically surveys teenage LJ users and their bloggin habits. Just a quick note as it seems I keep running into more and more folks working around different challenges and changes in their lives. I'm wishing you all well. Things aren't going great or terrible for me. I've got my own challenges to work with.

Plan B strikes again

minor updates
Life continues to stay busy. I've had some clarification on my internship on hours which means I've had to do some shifting. These changes will actually help me fulfill my hours for my degree faster than I was initially. Despite feeling more at ease with the home visits to my clients I am sure that I'd rather be working in an outpatient clinic ( Read more... ) -
Random updates
This is the last regular mass update on my dad. Treatment is stil going well. A few weeks on and a few weeks off. I can tell the difference when the meds are in his body. He and mom informed me last time they were visiting that this is the way it will be for the rest of his life. I apprecate that he has them, but it was a very sobering thought ( Read more... ) -
unabashedly optimistic
I'm just feeling the positive vibes around me today. Saw Duncan Shiek perform last night. Had a super stressful work stuff last month and for the day today but handled it with personal and professional grace. I wish there was a way to pass this feeling along in a post.

Updates
Things have been officially confirmed that chemo is shrinking the only visible tumors dad has. He and I were able to spend some time wandering around a train swap north of Saint Paul recently.
