[And, as some people are on their way back from work, some people are just on their way. Hooray for weird bartender hours. On the way, though, he happens to pass a number of houses. One of which has a man... or what looks like one... sitting on a porch.

*Conrad lowers his gaze to the man walking by, humming. He almost scoffs, seeing how happy he was. Humming? Really? Not even Conrad did that when he was happy. Then again, it was rare to see Conrad smiling in his natural behavior.

He opens his mouth to say something but POOF, the man on the porch suddenly reverts to being a bat, coughing as the red smoke around him starts to disappear.*

*THE LITTLE red bat seems to be cursing under his breath as he dusts himself off and... feels a shadow loom over him, looking up at the man, narrowing his itty bitty eyes at him*

[Hey! Look who else is in a bad mood. Toni spent some time stalking Mr. Cross's drone to make absolutely sure he was gone, mainly because she desperately hoped he wasn't. The number of people she was familiar with from home was quickly dwindling, and she almost didn't want to stop by Conrad's place to check on him because she didn't want to deal with another drone.]
