*he's reading a notecard-- as he reads it, he smiles, but once he's through he closes it, nearly frowning*

Osric's a pale, skinny boy of about ten. He's not well-dressed yet, not at all, and perhaps it's because his father's not yet decided to send him to court. His clothes, a plain tunic and trousers suitable for a workman's son, are threadbare more than they are inexpensive.
