What's the difference between medium and rare?

Six inches is medium, nine inches is rare.

Anyway, the weather's finally getting fit for a lamb roast, and I've been saving up, so I think it's about time we had one on the beach. A good old-fashioned open-pit barbeque, in the greatest of American traditions. That's what my country is founded on, ( Read more... )

Oh! I've heard of that one before.

Anyways, a lamb roast sounds like fun.

A good joke never gets old.

You should come. I'll make sure that it's filling for the senses, body, and the soul.

So many people don't get that at all.

That definitely sounds promising. Totally interested.

Good! Tell your friends. I'm not going to be satisfied if there aren't at least eight people dancing their drunk asses off at any given time.

Typical Robin Goodfellow.

A party, eh?

A party, yes. A beach party with a lamb roast. And assumedly people will bring something that you enjoy eating. Linguini salad or fruit salad or jello salad or something else with salad in its name.

So you should come.

Do I want to know what the dog-sized speakers are for?

And by the way, I thought you were from Greece.

For the kicking bassline, obviously.

I'm living in New York. I've been there since the Victorians went out of style. I'm sure that I'm from somewhere, but I can't remember where, and suffice it to say, countries weren't around then.

But I have good memories of Greece.

None of us are deaf enough to require a thumping bassline that loud. Although we would be afterwards.

You don't look harrassed enough to be from New York.

They make hearing aids for that these days. Ferocious music is always required at a party.

Harassed enough? Possibly because I'm not harassed. I enjoy polis living. I enjoy all of the people. All of the children on the other hand I have no use for, except in the way that they usually grow up to be real people.

Plus, it's easier to sell cars.

But it's a beach party, Youko. What else are you going to wear?

What's wrong with a T-shirt and a pair of jeans?
