Okay, Muay Thai kicked ass tonight, one more final in the morning and I am ready to go "home" (place I am from no time to debate the true application of the word to my current state)! Good stuff.

and then I get to travel! I am heading up regions north west for a couple of days, then NYC and Boston area for some days. This term ending, seeing my dad, and the introspection that seems inherent with traveling is very welcome right now.

My professors are really nice. It is still somewhat surprising to note the contrast from my previous academic environment. I like being up before anyone else when the sun is up. It feels like a little piece of the world is yours for a time with a lot of energy under the surface with the bustle to come.

Instead of reading the news online today I purchased the actual physical paper. When I first moved out here I was still getting the news delivered. It seems one only misses something when it is no longer on the doorstep.
