I'm seriously getting fucking annoyed with the media's obvious bias against the Red Sox this postseason. With our local news here, I can deal with it , but when I watch a national broadcast where the announcers seem to be doing everything short of a "Fuck You, Red Sox (clap clap clapclapclap)" chant, it's gone a little far.

The media is just jealous of the fact that the Red Sox are the best team ever (besides the Celtics). Go Sox!

I can't really speak with any authority on this subject because for all intents and purposes, the baseball playoffs are largely a figment of the collective imagination as far as I'm concerned. Baseball is not being played either BY the Mets or AGAINST the Braves or Yankees. Therefore, It doesn't concern me much. But to the subject of a media bias, I have the following thought. So? Fucking? What? Does one of those insipid little trolls shamelessly rooting for a team I don't like, cause my shortstop to boot an easily playable ground ball? No. Commentary, either before, during, or after a game, means fuckall to the actual proceedings therein. Is it annoying to those who watch it if it is indeed partial and not entirely accurate, therefore a position I oppose? Yes. Does it help the opposing pitcher strikeout my best hitter? No
