I'm enjoying Unnatural History quite a bit for a kid's show.  It's refreshing to see a YA-targeted live-action adventure show that's semi-educational and about more than fashion and consumerism.  Is anyone else watching this?

I ended up gathering up some clothes and running into Pennsylvania yesterday evening.  My sister called to tell me that my Mom was in the hospital.  It sounded bad and I was worried (she got an incredibly painful headache that didn't go away; the ER sent her to Critical Care).  They ran an MRI and a CAT scan, but didn't find anything wrong.  Mom ( Read more... )

Without any major spoilers: Okay, Zod's comeuppance was pretty stupid, but it actually made sense for him. After all, his primary activity is lying and whispering; he was bound to slip up sooner or later.  I did get a chuckle out of it.

So I've waited until the eleventh hour to decide who I'm voting for in the primary tomorrow.  In case anyone happens to see this before then and cares, I'm voting for Jennifer Brunner.  Both she and Fisher seem like good candidates.  Ultimately, though, I like Brunner's approach to education better ( Read more... )

Ah, silly quizzes.  I love how I clearly indicated in the test that I generally have a positive view of people; yet at the end of the results, it says that I view each other group in a pretty damning light.  Ah well; I suspect that Kazzandra may not have trustworthy credentials. quiz
