I love everything about this, darling. Your witty humor (Eames' merit!), and the characterizations (Cobb being oblivious, Mal thinks of herself as a cliche, Arthur as an illustrator), and the way Eames thinks and speaks and analyzes. This is so, so lovely.

I really enjoyed the whole not-Amélie-but-kind-of-Amélie-story. I loved Eames in this one and I was very impressed at Arthur managing not to jump him right then and there.

I love Amelie, but I thought if I was going to do anything interesting with it I would have to be a little self-aware, because neither Arthur nor Eames is really Amelie. At all.
