This is a short series of comics featuring "behind the scenes" stories set during the original X-Men comic series. Sort of like X-Men doujinshi...It has humor and an interesting art style, and gives a fresh look on the lives of the first five X-Men and the relationships that develop between them. The second X-men animated series is noticably different from the original in several ways. First, most of the characters are teenagers, and rather than actually "attend" Professor Xavier's school full-time, they live there but go to the local high school. I was leafing through some of my old journals - actual physical ones, that is. I had forgotten how many of those I'd kept over the years. One I wrote when I was 9 years old. Now when I feel like writing something down, I do it in a blog or in a file on my computer, and I don't have to try to read my own writing.

I've logged over 150 hours on it, and Cloud's the only one I've got to level 100. Even then, I still have a ways to go in maxing out his abilities and getting his ultimate weapon. Who knows how long it'll take to master all the characters...o.o

I've been writing a lot of little SoulCalibur blurbs, nothing good enough to post, but it's fun. I've also been listening to Wagner's Ring Saga. I can't say I'm quite an opera afficianado yet, but some of the songs are pretty catchy. It's especially good to follow along with the lyrics and a side-by-side translation ( Read more... )
