Rats in film
Although the animation is gorgeous, The Secret of NIMH is not as good as Ratatouille.The mystical element subverts the courage and ingenuity of Mrs. Brisby. I'm pretty sure this wasn't in the book. Unfulfilled
Goofing off while recording their album Hush Bobby McFerrin and Yo yo Ma "accidentally" begin playing Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze. It a delerious and delicious moment. Illustration insight
Last week I had an insight on how to do a simple animation. My insight was nothing special really, but basically to use paths to redraw the moving parts. Once I got some workflow stuff down, it's actually pretty easy. I'm going to work on some simple animations to get a feel for motion and timing.
