Ok, so I *have* been more than a comatose clump this past little while, it's just ... laze, I guess. I'm lazy.
My last day of work, (what, a week ago, I think?), I gave my boss the card, which she appreciated. But later that day, on a delivery, I ran into this guy I knew as a kid from California, a person I haven't seen for over 10 years. THAT's ( Read more... ) -

After a while, I stopped. The guitar was resting gently on my leg. I let my nose and gut and throat just hurt for a few moments, letting the pain wash back into me. I set my guitar back down. He let me go. So great and noble, never to be excessive in their punishments, they would say. The army for the people.
I lost my scarf sometime between being knocked out and waking up in that fed-hole. And my clothes still smelled of the place.

Ug.
Yesterday was not so good.
Basically, I got to work for nearly 11 hours. I showed up at 10 am (to run an errand for the store, no less), and got off work at about 8:45 pm.
During that time, I also got told that I took breaks all the time whenever I was delivering something or driving somewhere, and that was like a break and so I didn't need more ( Read more... )
