Punta Cana and a rant

Punta Cana was beautiful! It only rained a little bit the last 2 days or so. Besides that, perfect weather. I learned a little bit of spanish. Not enough to hold a conversation but I know how to order a drink without ice....and gracias....and hola...and a few other things. I SWAM WITH DOLPHINS! SO MUCH FUN! And you know those two wheeler thingys

I think that guy sounds like an asshole, too. (Also, if he's 18 and that girl is 15 that's like technically statutory hooking up, I believe. Too much Law and Order perhaps.) Also the fact that he kept count of how many times he said you were beautiful... it was almost too calculated or something. I dunno, he just sounds like a jerk. And sometimes you have instincts for a reason. If you felt bad about the whole thing even if common sense seems to dictate that you should just go with it, a lot of times the instinct wins since it's stronger, and is sometimes right (Sorry, I just had a very long conversation about existentialism/signs/feelings etc). But you don't have to go along with the crowd always on typical "young people" stuff. I worry about it a lot of the time, because I don't. I shouldn't be talking since I doubt my own position on it, but I'm starting to realize that there is something to be said for personal choices... and good sense that other people your age might not see

I'm totally proud of you for keeping your boundaries with an asshole. you've grown up a lot =)

and I know it's worrisome, but try not to worry the whole not finding anyone thing. I think when it's time, something will happen somewhere. until then, no point forcing it, because guys and their drama are too much pain and frustration to be worth it when it's not special.

Yeah I'm on your side about that gross guy, too. And maybe you're not broken -- maybe you just need some time to heal and get away from sexy stuff, especially if its not meaningful to you.

Nothing new, but just agreeing with the girls above. Good for you for sticking to you guns. It takes a lot of maturity and strength. And the line does sound completely fake. And I agree with Marielle. You've worked hard to change, babe, and it's all a gradual process.
