New addition to the family

For the past couple of years, I have been feeding a stray cat who comes to my patio. Last year she had a litter of kittens, she brought them to the patio to eat, and I managed to find homes for them all. This year she had another litter, and once again brought them to the patio. Don't worry, John and I were outnumbered by our animals by approximately a 3.5:1 ratio. Of course, they weren't all cats ... ;-)

Someone posted a formula for determining if a household is "crazy cat people" -- something to the effect of "two cats for each human plus one cat" is just barely ok, "plus two" would be CCP. I amended it to "adult humans" meaning anyone who regularly takes on litterbox and grooming duty without complaint or reminders.

We've edge into CCP a few times, but not lately. I'm envious of your cattedness!

Any chance of using a humane trap for the momma and getting her spayed at some point?
