I don't suppose anyone knows of any abandoned warehouses that could be used for filming in London?

Recce today went really well. It's this abandoned warehouse and it's just perfect for what we need it for. Apparently the area was used in an old Doctor Who episode, so there we go. One of the site guys was telling us all about the building's history, some really interesting stuff.

I can't wait for the filming to get underway now.

Lessons of the day:

-Biker groups are very polite, friendly people.

-Danny Dyer is just plain bizarre.

-Lie ins are not advisable when you have work to do.

-Too many google accounts is a nightmare to manage.

-Train pricing is just mental.

Only some of these were new lessons, but still. 

You know all those cliché sayings? Turns out they're true. Well, maybe not all of them, but certainly several. Only the other day I was wondering if I would ever hear back from any of the part-time jobs I applied to. Just a little update on my life in case anyone is interested. So I'm still unemployed, no income and all that sad jazz, but things are looking up. I have been applying to jobs again (which wasn't happening for two months around Christmas) and I've got some unpaid work going on. Quite a bit of unpaid work going on in fact. Sometimes I wonder if I have the mental capability to deal with life. Surely doing so little shouldn't have you feeling overwhelmed? I was going to say self-doubt might be the problem but I'm not so sure it is. There's irony for you. Does everybody yo-yo so much in their thoughts? I have had a very good evening. Fingers crossed this goodness keeps rolling until I somehow accidentally snowball into success. We'll see. I won't say more here because I am keeping this separate from real life, but suffice to say the last two month might be turning around ( Read more... )
