It's been a while. I want to start writing my book again and I thought this would be a good place to run through ideas. Maybe someone will even read my entries and give me feedback. If not that's okay; I just need space to draft. I feel like this is easier than Word for going back and reading old writings. Stay tuned for ideas and parts of my book!

Today is a very sad day for me. I found out my favorite uncle died. He had a heart attack last night while he was at his daughter and son-in-law's house. They said he sat down after dinner and while they were cleaning up he died; alone. My heart aches.

We got it! We closed on our apartment; move in day is the 18th! We've got it all set up electric, water, cable, internet. We are really excited to finally be getting out of this hell hole.

So much has happened in the past few days. Well more than that really; since my last true journal-ing entry. Lauren and I went to a Halloween party at her boss' house. I got best costume, which is pretty cool cuz I defiantly thought other people's were more bad ass than mine. That was fun. It was nice to be in an accepting environment. Packing was fairly productive yesterday. I'm almost finished with our second box of nick-nacs. That may not seem like much, but there are several factors at play. So I just got back from a vacation to Florida. It was supposed to be really awesome with a free trip to Disney and everything. You know what I did for the majority of the time? I just voted for LJ Idol. That was not what I expected. I'm glad though. I thought it would be more vote people out than keep them in. There are a lot of really good entries and I would have had a really hard time figuring out who to vote against. I'm glad it's for instead.
