Oolong! *inhales*
Mol sent me tea and it smells nomlicious! And the container she decorated looks so cool - I am definitely looking forward to being able to reuse it once the nummy Oolong tea is all gone.
I haven't even put it in my closet (my acting kitchen cupboard for now) since it arrived because I like looking at it. <3

Tisane Blending
Note to self:
Equal parts ginger, nettles, and Valerian root in the same pot of tea is a good, smooth blend, as long as the nettles and Valerian are removed immediately after steeping. Ginger can be left in for improved taste.

Things Hurt Today
I long for the day when the cat finally realises excessive meowing does not make the food come faster but, in fact, achieves the opposite.
In my groggy haste to bring the cat his breakfast to shut him up, I pulled a Dom Monaghan today and rushed right onto a huge splinter in the floor. You bet those meows slowed me down!

First Item on the List, FINALLY
In my last entry I listed things I still need to get fixed or replaced. Well, the first of those has finally been settled - I now have underpants!!! Slowly Re-Acclimating Myself to Household Appliance Use
This week, for the first time in three months, I washed my laundry in an electrically powered machine instead of a bucket. A glitchy machine that only runs on the Rinse cycle, but nonetheless the skin on my knuckles is rejoicing.( Read more... ) -
