Camera course
I took a photography course yesterday, courtesy of Groupon (£32.50 for a £180 course). It was a fantastic experience. DLA appeal
Yesterday, I had a tribunal hearing for my appeal on the decision to not receive disability living allowance. Coming so soon after my arrival back in Britain, I really had not looked at the paperwork sent me much, due to jet lag and the normal brain fog which so frequently envelopes me. How ME has taken over
Not this past night, but the night before, I slept on the sofa. This was not out of anger or a forced will, but out of choice. My back was hurting so badly that I could not actually lie down without being in agony. This rather precluded sleeping. Why do we try so hard?
I read an article on http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/ about how a particular woman isn't able to get benefits because she doesn't look sick enough, and it made me think.

Spring is here
There is a green mist creeping over my garden. The days are getting warmer, and the clocks just went forward. Now the evenings will be lighter. The snowdrops are well into their blooming cycle, and the crocus and daffodils are gracing us with their beautiful colours too. Weight
This has been a pretty strange month food and weight wise. I started Weight Watchers right before my birthday, and so far since being on the plan I have been out to a restaurant to eat 4 out of the 5 weeks - one of those weeks being at Ashbury, where I went way over my limit. One of the apps I get on my new android phone is a listing of medical news. I try to keep up with the research on CFS/ME - and there's a surprising amount of it out there.Funding is becoming more readily available as this condition is recognised as physical and not just someone's imagination. I feel like a lot is going on in my life right now, most of it good. Looking at my calendar the other day, I was surprised to see how many social activities I've had scheduled this month.
