It is lovely to see you here on LJ, you should make a habit of it! You know, with all that free time you have (and undoubtedly will have once your Master's program starts)! LJ ain't what it used to be, for many reasons, but I always come back because it's much better content. FB is really throwaway stuff, you know? You post something, people see it for a few hours or days, and then it just fades into the past, never to be seen again. I like to go back in my own LJ and see what I was doing at this time years ago, or to remind myself of how I felt at particular points along the road. Can't really do that with anything else, you know? Well, there are paper journals, of course, but then you lose the social aspect ( ... )

I am so glad to read about your experiences over here, rather than on FB. I find that we can get a lot more information here than over there.

How exciting! Sounds like the perfect place to raise a family. :)

autumn is my favorite season. If we ever move out if state changing seasons is a must! Enjoy your first official winter.
