My Sister in Marin County called me last night. She's pregnant. She's been wanting a kid for years and now she's going to have one. It's about time. She's 41. It's actually going to be my 7th nephew or niece, but the first from her. She and I are very close, so it was great news!

Well, after 14 years of friendship and 8 years of living together, Maura and I are breaking up. She needs her space to do stuff, and I've become too dependent on her.
