Hey, I'm home. I'm tired and sore, but I'm in one piece. The surgery went well. The doctor said that she found a polyp and removed it. It got sent to the lab and I'll know what was up with that in 2 weeks ( Read more... )

So, the title is a total lie. :P Surgery is tomorrow. I'm a bundle of nerves. Not so much because of the surgery, but because of everything else going on in life that has be frazzled beyond belief. So the doctor's visit went well. All of my lab results came back looking pretty good. My glucose screening was a little on the low end, my cholesterol is normal, blood pressure is normal, ovaries and uterine lining aren't too bad. The doctor said that I have a "fussy uterus". I'm not sure what that means.

So, today I had to make an emergency doctor's appointment. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome. It is not fun. I have to go have an ultrasound done next week and a follow up with the doctor the week following. I will be going on birth control and I'll take a few more tests to determine if there are any other problems. As for right now... I'm ( Read more... )

The mom of a former student was killed in a car accident. Please pray for the Mattson/Clayman families and please remember little Toddy who is going to grow up without his mommy. :(

The day began at 9 am yesterday. I got up, got dressed and grabbed all the stuff I'd need: dress, shoes, make-up, etc. and headed to the church. I was the first of the bridal party to arrive. Go me.
