Halloween the Film Watchening Part 3: (#2) American Psycho
So I had never seen American Psycho until a few days ago when I noticed it was on HBO Go, and I thought that I really run out of excuses for not seeing it as this point. I've heard it described as riveting, terrifying, surreal, and one of the best performances of Christian Bale's career.

Dredd is not only not shitty, but actually awesome (no spoilers)
So mithras03 and I went to see Dredd on the Sunday. We were prepared for something that was hopefully shitmazing, but we were quite surprised to discover that Dredd was actually a genuinely solid action-SF film. The action was great, the pacing was extremely solid, and the acting was even all-around excellent.

My relatively spoiler-free review of Prometheus
Caught Prometheus this evening, and I can conclude two things:
1) Ridley Scott should have just said it was a prequel to Alien.
2) Prometheus is an almost excellent SF horror/thriller which unfortunately gets lost up its own ass in the third act.

Okay, someone really needs to explain to me...
...why on Earth do people have a problem with the ending of Mass Effect 3?! I thought that was great! Very satisfying and exactly the kind of end I might have imagined my Renegade Shep!
