So, last night for the first time my (now 2-year-old) daughter stayed the night here with me, at my place, with no help. So, um, Rachel Griffiths, who is one of my most favourite actresses and a total fox, was just on Rove Live.
When asked "who would you turn gay for", her answer (without hesitation) was "Nigella Lawson".

Yesterday I got all inspired by one of the shows on AltTV to try and glom together some classic Kiwi music vids and then dig them up on YouTube, as a way of marking the closing of NZ Music Month (especially seeing as I've been pretty slack about it, overall). I went into the water closet just now, for the usual reason, and while standing there I noticed there were a bunch of (so I thought) ants, all over the ceiling, and tops of the walls, but they didn't quite look like ants usually do, nor were they ... orderly, like you expect ants to be.
