I have introduced two new loves into my life:

This week has been an adventure which has so far involved rounding with psychiatrists through the ER and the trauma ICU.  I'm not sure how I feel about a medical field that relies solely on the reliability of your patient.  If your patient can't talk (one today had in a trach tube), you are S.O.L.  And much of the time your patient has more than a ( Read more... )

A necessity of every kitchen, and I can't believe I've lived here since September without it:  Texas Pete hot sauce. It is so delicious. Day 1 since my release from captivity.

After a long, wonderful Memorial Day weekend with my neuroanatomy notes and - far more importantly - my darling PJ.  I had to put her to sleep on Tuesday afternoon.  While it broke my heart more than I think it ever has been, she led a spunky, vivacious life - glorious even if it was too short.  As part of my self-therapy, I've made a short Peej ( Read more... )
