so recently i spoke against bible burning at the upcoming Sadisco and recieved basically all negative remarks from what i can tell are essentially narrowminded people. The upcoming theme is anti church, which is fine and dandy, eff the establishment of the church...yadda yadda yadda....etc... of which they plan to burn bibles. this obviously ( Read more... )

Good job Mike, someone needs to do that. Bible burning is just stupid...there are much better ways to be offensive without (as you said) looking like idiotic mallgoths.

giving Squalor what he wanted.....negative press.... i also as is stated above fought for some morality in all of the retardedness. with good intent does not always flower positive results unfortunately. Although I have to say this, by supporting S* in the past, that means I am guilty of supporting Squalor, and for that I am regretful. Regretful for now knowing I supported his blind actions and blatant disregard for common sense.

have you ever thought that what you did/are doing is exactly what toby wanted? and you just added fuel the fire that was already burning? he wanted a reaction, you gave him the best one of all and because of the volume of your reaction, toby is more difiant now to make sure we have a bible/book burning. did you ever think that had you just let sleeping dogs lie or even not shown up at decembers S*, things might not have gotten so out of control.

from what i've seen, all you've managed to do is lose S* a great sponser (and if you were at any S* they sponsered and got free shit, then you gained from them), cemented toby in doing exactly what you tried to get him to stop, and piss off a lot of people.

i saved a good sponsor from bad press, and youre right, i gave him what he wanted, but he keeps crying about it. i did what i did in an attempt to steer sadisco away from this shit. toby asked for his bad press, he got it. End of story, i stood up for what i and others believed in, he stood up for what he and others believed in. i reacted purely upon tobys neglegence(sp?) and utter refusal to listen to any sort of viable reasoning from anyone, not just myself. further you would know i have been to sadiscos if you read my post all the way through. the sad part is, im not even religious to the slightest degree, i just dont enjoy people being dicks. toby and mr vicodin and the rest of the people that acted the way they did only fueled my urge. everyone wants to point this at me, go ahead, i really dont care, my judgement was swift and fair, bookmans deserved to know, and, like i said, my only regret is promoting anything toby is related with. further, if you notice i only hit up bookmans and not any of the other sponsors, or maybe ( ... )
