found a really excellent betsey johnson dress for $4 yesterday. it's froofy and vampy and is designed so exposes a fair amount of cheek (through a couple layers of sparkly black tulle, but still) and i like it a ton.

our house is, pretty literally, full. i can appreciate for the first time the desire for "more space"- as i seem to have the consumerist desire for "more stuff" down.

we got a juicer last night- it's the first big appliance i have ever bought for myself (after doing research i chose the one was rated best with no concern for economy) -but i used part of the gift money from cp parents to buy it, so no guilt. i've wanted one for a while, and several of my friends have (and love) them... and i have the opportunity ( Read more... )

friday- thai butternut squash w/basmati rice
saturday- pan fried pumpkin with tomato sauce and asparagus

evan and i are going to berkeley tomorrow night to see sigur ros, at an outdoor venue. there is a severe weather alert, warning that it is going to rain. hard. since the show is "rain or shine", i am BEYOND thrilled.
