I am incredibly tired. I worked 60 hours in about 5 days last week, and this week is only slightly better. What little free time I have left is spent negotiating a tangled web of condescending social workers, teachers, and doctors who we get to deal with as punishment for relying on low-income assistance for most of our basic needs. I am writing a lot of songs, but too busy with work and custody fighting to really do much with the band. We got the split CD out and have collapsed from exhaustion and done nothing since. Diet Folk! is actually selling all those splits at least, and we have a new EP by Post-Modern Sounds coming out and maybe a split with them and a band from New ( Read more... )

The split CD is finally out. It has glossy color sleeves and looks so professional that it's difficult to believe that we really did it ourselves. Finals next week and the stress will finally subside for a few months.

So after my last entry I was IM'ed by the GenerousSalmon bot, which I guess is a spin-off of "tehgreathatsby" a very strange bot which searches for recent posts on livejournal and randomly connects the authors via AIM, against their will and obscuring their real username in the process. I had two dreams last night which stayed with me, really vivid, which is odd because I either don't dream veyr often or I completely forget about them if I do have them. tonight I have to complete a project and three classes worth of homework for tomorrow. I got a hold of the materials I need to do this right before midnight.
