I had to cut myself off. God, I have crazy love for the man. I can't think of a more interesting character on television--though part of that is that you wouldn't expect it from a seemingly cookie-cutter crime lab serial.

exactly. the man stands out in the series. in television, really.

The characters make CSI, IMHO. Catherine is unique--Sara--Greg--and, dare I say it, especially Nick. He's coded as a woman, but that doesn't make him into some kind of emasculated, hysterical caricature--which shows that the writers and the actor are openminded on a number of levels.

Dude, Bob's smart. He had an offer from some prestigious music college (orchestral percussion) and instead went to Loyola to get his sound engineering degree because it was "more practical". I looked up requirements for Sound Engineering at Loyola and they require two levels of Advanced Calculus. :) Uh. Because I am a dork.

I KNOW. This is why I took Bob for the fanfic100...er, and only wrote nine stories. None of which ever made it online. But they're in a notebook! Um.
