I've never really understood the "take me off your friend's list" thing. I really don't care if I'm on your friend's list, as long as you don't come in my journal commenting on entries and acting like an ass. :P
I think a lot of people have difficulties with realizing that journals online are less than personal in the typical sense. Even if you don't give your web address to anyone on any sort of site - it can eventually be found. If people only want their "friends" to know what is going down - they should get a clue and communicate openly with them instead of posting on a lj.
