max tried to buck me. i'd been riding him for about half an hour & we were just walkin around the ring. we passed this one dark spot & all of a sudden his head reared back & he bucked & spooked to the left. it was almost like he was gonna roll to his left, his legs were stiff and he just jolted. thank GOD i wasn't on a leather saddle, otherwise i ( Read more... )

i get to ride max tomorrow! yay! he is katy & becky anne's horse, he's like 16hh & he's a warmblood gelding. he's kind of hyper & he's no push-button horse, so it should be quite an experience. but at least it will be western (cowboy style yeehaw!), so i'll have some grips on it. i'll hopefully do okay ( Read more... )
