Despite the ookiness of this cold I had a really lovely day on Friday. I felt loads better anyway, and the sun was out, so we went into London quite early and had a wander round Covent Garden and the Embankment. Then we had dinner and hit the pub to start getting into the mood ( Read more... )

Uuurghhh, this isn't fair. I now have a new lurgy (of the swollen throat/sinuses feeling like someone attacked my face with an iron bar/choking on gook variety). Helloooo, got back from my trip to Kenya in the early hours of yesterday. We had a really really fantastic time. It’s such a lovely country, and the warmth and happiness of the people never ceases to amaze me.
