Mark and I are flying to Ecuador to spend the next month on a summer field course. With luck, both of us will survive the trip and return with many photos and a minimum of parasites.

Mark made a blog for the trip that we'll update as often as we can, considering we'll be out of internet reach most of the time.

So it turns out one of the things Mark was not used to when I brought him up to the Bay Area was ticks.
