There was a group meeting last Friday. Perhaps, I had too high expectations, but I expected some of the issues I brought up to be discussed. I got back to Paris just in time to enjoy some Indian food with some other SIGMODers. Afterwards we headed to the top of a nearby hill (which is also the location of some attraction) and found some near-authentic French dessert. The second day of the demo went about the same as the first. A couple of people were slightly more argumentative than I expected.
