Today was the Intel Open House, in which I was obligated to give a demo. Needless to say, I spend many hours getting the demo working. The last bug fix was checked in just 73 minutes before the demo began. The demo went off great; just about everyone who visited my corner was excited about the project ( Read more... )

So I left off yesterday worried sick about my talk and waiting for the evening banquet. To my surprise before the dinner we were granted exclusive access to this wonderful technical museum. So it all started Monday evening (SF Time) when I ran to the BART station to meet Boon and get over to SFO. The new international terminal at SFO was very nice, but empty. What have I been up to recently... mostly work. I have my conference coming up in a couple weeks and a paper is due as soon as I get back, which means I have to finish most of it before I leave. But work is boring to write about, and probably to read about ( Read more... )
