At the ripe age of 23, I got braced for the first time. When I was little, my old family dentist, somehow pulled one too many teeth out. I didn't know this until I started working and went to a new dentist who told me I should see an orthodontist. Childish. I hate being called that. It’s an adjective that I associate with spoiled brats that live beyond their means (or the means of their parents). They have not experienced enough of the world to be humbled by it.
