Summary: A girl was forced to change her identity and gender due to her family problem. On the other hand, Chinen Yuuri of the famous boy band 'Hey! Say! JUMP' injured himself in one of their rehearsals for the upcoming winter concert. A temporary replacement was found to replace him. Will the other members, especially his good friend - Yamada Ryosuke, be able to accept the fact about his injury and the new member? And who exactly is this mysterious replacer with an unknown past?

After Ryoko had appeared on 'Ousama no Brunch', her popularity in school was increasing every day. It was yet another school day and the girls were on their way to school as usual. As soon as they arrived at the school gate, many female students were crowding around the gate, waiting for Ryoko to appear. Ryoko, who sat by the window, saw the crowd and let out a heavy sigh.
"It's never ending," Ryoko mumbled softly and Mizuki heard it.
Then Mizuki thought of a plan.
"It’s okay! I'll get the both of us out safely!" Mizuki said with a grin and whispered something into Kato-san's ear.
Ryoko watched him nodded his head and pulled away from the gate.
"Where are we going?" Ryoko asked in panic.
Mizuki patted her shoulder and smiled.
"We're going to take another route to the school!" she answered and the both of them watched the faces of the female students fell.
Few minutes later, the both of them were in their class.
"Thank you, Mi-chan!" Ryoko exclaimed as she slumped herself against her table in the class.
Mizuki just smiled at her. There were actually two routes to the school. However, most students only used the main gate so most of the time the other gate was deserted. The girls came to realize that the second route was much faster and told Kato-san to drive via that route the next time. Ryoko tilted her face and stared at Mizuki with a grin.
"Oh! Ryo-chan, your dark circles are getting worse," Mizuki said and Ryoko's hands immediately flew to her eyes.
Mizuki nodded and passed Ryoko a small pocket mirror.
"Here you go."
Ryoko slowly examined her dark circles and eye bags through the mirror reflection. She let out a sigh.
"It’s really getting darker. Blame it all on the practices," Ryoko pouted and handed back the pocket mirror to Mizuki.
Mizuki stuffed the mirror back into her pocket and grinned.
"But it's your break today ne?" she reminded and Ryoko's eyes sparkled. How can I forget about that?
"Yosh! Let's go out after school today!" Ryoko said happily and Mizuki nodded.
Ryoko sighed with a smile and looked out of the window.
Finally I'm having a break after one month of practicing!

The last bell for the day in Horikoshi Gakuen rang and students were packing their bags quickly.
"Yosh! It's finally the end of another school day!" Ryosuke exclaimed softly and stretched his arms.
Yuto leaned over to Ryosuke's table and took a peek. On his table lies a notebook full of Korean words and a thick Korean textbook that was flipped open to a certain page.
"Well, Yama-chan is still so hard-working," Yuto said, lifting up the notebook and slightly browsed through.
Ryosuke nodded with a smile and closed his textbook. Yuuri, on the other hand, was packing his bag and didn't hear the full conversation between the pair. He only heard Yuto praising Ryosuke about being very hard-working. He stood up from his seat and walked over to Ryosuke's table.
"Since when did Yama-chan start working hard? He wasn't paying attention in class today," Yuuri teased, eyeing the notebook that Yuto was trying to read.
Smack!
"Ouch!" Yuuri groaned loudly, rubbing his head with his left hand.
"That's for teasing me, Chii," Ryosuke, the attacker, said while packing his bag.
"Mou! That's the truth! Yuuti!" Yuuri pouted and went over to Yuto's side who was laughing.
Ryosuke shook his head with a smile and went to Yuto's table too. After Yuto had finished packing up, the three of them headed out of the class.
"Hey, since we're having a break from practicing today, let's go out today!" Yuuri suggested.
"Break?!"
"Yeah! The both of you didn't know?" Yuuri asked, raising his eyebrows.
The two guys shook their heads.
"Well, it’s okay. Now that the both of you have known about it, let’s go!" Yuuri hushed and dragged the both of them out of the gate.
After half an hour of walking, they had finally reached Shibuya.
"Chii, where do you want to go first?" Ryosuke asked, staring at the huge mall in front of them.
Yuuri shrugged his shoulders and looked at Yuto.
"What about Yuuti?" Yuuri asked, looking at him.
Just before Yuto could reply, the trio heard their stomachs growling and glanced at each other.
"Well then, I guess we've the answer," Yuuri said, shifting his gaze from Yuto to Ryosuke.
"Yes! It's lunch time!" Yuto said happily as the trio walked into the mall.

"Mou Mi-chan! Why must I wear these?" Ryoko complained as she tugged on her skirt uncomfortably.
Since Ryoko was having a break that day, they had decided to go to Shibuya after school. Mizuki suggested that they should head home first, get a change of clothes before going to the mall. Sparing a thought for Ryoko that she was currently a public figure, Mizuki decided to dress up Ryoko as a girl despite her protests. In the end, Ryoko was wearing a dark brown wig that was of shoulder-length and slightly feminine clothing.
"You know Ryo-chan, you should thank me for all these," Mizuki said and rolled her eyes.
Ryoko made a face at her in return.
"If you didn't wear these feminine clothing, I bet that group of girls earlier would have recognize you," Mizuki added, folding her arms.
Ryoko thought about it and sighed. Mizuki was right. Earlier on, there was a group of girls gossiping about Hey! Say! JUMP and the both of them heard Ryoko's name in it.
"Fine. I know what you’re getting at Mi-chan. Thank you," Ryoko thanked unwillingly and continued to tug on her skirt.
As they entered the mall, the girls immediately headed to 'Starbucks'. Luckily, it wasn't packed and the girls found a seat very quickly.
"Mi-chan, why don't you go ahead and buy first?" Ryoko suggested as she took out her mobile phone.
Mizuki nodded and went to the counter. Feeling bored, Ryoko started to browse through her phone. Just then, she heard some familiar voices nearby and looked up. Her eyes widened and she gasped softly. Impossible!
She dropped her gaze immediately, avoiding any eye contacts at all cost. Seating right beside them was the trio - Ryosuke, Yuuri and Yuto. Ryoko cursed herself silently for being so unlucky to meet them here even during her break while on the other hand, she was trying to eavesdrop what they were talking about.
"So Chii, how's your right arm now?" Ryosuke asked and took a bite of his strawberry cake.
Yuuri looked at his right arm then at Ryosuke and smiled.
"Yeah! It's much better now. I guess I'll be able to use my right arm soon," he replied and took a sip of his coffee.
Ryosuke nodded and Yuto, who was listening to their conversation, spoke.
"But I remembered that the doctor said that you won't be able to use your right arm so efficiently like last time, so will you still be performing with us or will Ryo-chan take over your place?" Yuto asked, after swallowing the bite of cheese cake.
Ryoko froze upon hearing her name being mentioned. Yuuri, who had a direct view of her, saw it through the corner of his eyes and eyed her.
"Isn't that…Ryo-chan?!" he thought silently as he narrowed his eyes at her for the second time to make sure that it was the right person.
Just then, Ryoko looked up and their eyes met. Yuuri's eyes widened instantly.
"It's really her!" he thought happily.
He wanted to wave to her but he suddenly remembered that Ryoko had asked him to keep her real identity as a secret and decided to swallow his words back. Unable to greet her openly, he flashed a small smile at her which she returned it and looked away. Yuto, being the more sensitive person, caught Yuuri smiling.
"Chii, who are you smiling to?" Yuto asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
Yuto's words caught Ryosuke's attention and the both of them were staring at him. Yuuri was caught off-guard by Yuto's question and his eyes flickered from the pair to Ryoko. Yuto and Ryosuke followed Yuuri’s gaze and immediately turned their heads around. Ryoko was shocked and tried to hide. Luckily, Mizuki returned and blocked their views. Ryoko let out sigh of relieved. That was so close.
"Thank you, Mi-chan," she said breathlessly.
Mizuki stared at her weirdly.
"Why did you thank me?" Mizuki asked, taking her cup of coffee and the plate of chocolate cake from the tray.
Ryoko shook her head and sighed. Her eyes flickered over to the trio's table and caught Yuuri staring at her. Yuuri slightly furrowed his eyebrows and his lips were grim. Suddenly, her phone vibrated and she flipped it open.
From: Chinen Yuuri-kun
Message: I’m sorry, Ryo-chan. I almost expose your real identity in front of them m(_ _)m
Ryoko flashed a small smile and replied him. Mizuki took a bite of her chocolate cake and stared at Ryoko.
"Ryo-chan, aren't you hungry?" Mizuki asked, raising her eyebrows.
Ryoko looked at her and bit her lips. She motioned Mizuki to lean closer.
"The trio is beside us," she whispered softly and Mizuki tilted her head slightly to the left.
"Trio?" Mizuki asked with a slight frown.
"Who?"
Ryoko wanted to do a face-palm badly.
"Yamada Ryosuke, Nakajima Yuto and Chinen Yuuri!" she hissed softly and saw Mizuki's eyes widened.
"Oh my! Are you serious?" Mizuki exclaimed loudly, gaining attention from everyone around them.
This time round, Ryoko really did a face-palm. Just how stupid can she be?
When she looked up, she saw the trio staring at her. Oh crap! I’m so dead this time round.
"Erm...Chii, doesn't that girl over there seems to be very familiar?" Yuto asked, taking the last bite of his cheese cake.
Hearing that, Ryosuke narrowed his eyes and looked at her closely. Yuuri gulped.
"They're going to recognize Ryo-chan if this goes on!" he thought silently.
Not knowing what to do, Yuuri stood up from his seat promptly and walked over to Ryoko's table.
"Ah! It's you!" Yuuri exclaimed, beaming at Ryoko.
Ryoko looked at him in confusion. Ryosuke and Yuto, who were surprised by Yuuri's action, quickly walked over too.
"Chii, you knew her?" Yuto asked and Yuuri nodded his head.
"She's my childhood friend!" Yuuri replied, placing his arm around Ryoko's shoulders.
"Oh, really? So Chii, you were looking at her just now?" Yuto asked again.
"Yeah! It has been a long time since the last time I met her, so I wanted to see if I’ve recognized the right person," Yuuri explained.
"Oh, I see. You should have introduced her to us earlier, Chii!" Yuto pouted and averted his gaze to Ryoko.
"Hello! I'm Nakajima Yuto! What's your name?"
Both Yuuri and Ryoko froze. Sensing that something wasn’t right, Yuuri quickly went to her aid.
"Yuto, you don't ne-"
"Ryoko. Nakayama Ryoko," Ryoko replied steadily with a smile.
She finally understood why Yuuri had approached her. She watched Yuto nodded his head while Ryosuke was staring at her closely, as if he was examining her. She felt uneasy and decided to avert his attention.
"Erm, you must be Yamada Ryosuke, right?" Ryoko asked, staring back at him.
Ryosuke snapped out of his thoughts and nodded.
"Ah, yes. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier," he apologized and Ryoko shook her head with a smile.
"Ryoko-chan must be a fan of Yama-chan, right?" Yuto joked and Ryoko pretended to blush.
"Erm, Ryo-chan-" Yuuri blurted out and Ryoko's eyes widened.
"Ryo-chan?!" Yuto and Ryosuke said in sync.
Yuuri was to face-palm himself badly.
"Erm, well, that was what I used to call her last time, right?" Yuuri said with a fake laugh while nudging Ryoko and she nodded.
"Oh, I see. Well, you know, recently our band had a new member to replace Chii and his name was Nakano Ryota. So we decided to call him Ryo-chan for short," Yuto explained and Ryoko nodded her head.
Yuuri pretended to look at his watch and gasped loudly.
"Whoa! It's so late already? Time flies!" Yuuri exclaimed and looked at Ryoko.
"I’m sorry, Ryo-chan but we need to go somewhere now. I’ll talk to you next time!"
And he dragged the pair away. After they were out of sight, Ryoko shot Mizuki a death glare.
"I’m really sorry. I was really surprised when you mentioned their names all of a sudden," Mizuki apologized profusely and Ryoko sighed.
"It’s okay. Luckily Chinen-kun came to my rescue earlier on, or else, they might have just recognize me on the spot," Ryoko mumbled.
"So you mean Chinen-kun knows your real identity?" Mizuki exclaimed softly and Ryoko nodded her head slowly.
I wonder how I'm going to face them tomorrow. Yamada-kun seemed to be suspecting.

"Chii, your childhood friend is really pretty and cute!" Yuto complimented and Yuuri did a sweat drop expression.
"If only you knew that she is actually the Ryo-chan you know, I wonder if you'll say the same thing," he thought.
"How did you meet her?" Yuto asked and Yuuri tried to explain.
They were so engrossed in their conversation that they failed to notice Ryosuke was drifting further from them. Ryosuke was buried in his own thoughts.
"That girl…she looks so familiar. Where have I seen her before?" he thought.
Suddenly, the picture of Ryoko wearing the dress with the wig appeared in his mind. He combined the pictures together mentally and his eyes widened.
"Could it be…?!”

"Erm, you must be Yamada Ryosuke, right?" Ryoko asked, staring back at him.
Ryosuke snapped out of his thoughts and nodded.
"Ah, yes. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier," he apologized and Ryoko shook her head with a smile.
"Ryoko-chan must be a fan of Yama-chan, right?" Yuto joked and Ryoko pretended to blush.
"Erm, Ryo-chan-" Yuuri blurted out and Ryoko's eyes widened.
"Ryo-chan?!" Yuto and Ryosuke said in sync.
Yuuri was to face-palm himself badly.
"Erm, well, that was what I used to call her last time, right?" Yuuri said with a fake laugh while nudging Ryoko and she nodded.
"Oh, I see. Well, you know, recently our band had a new member to replace Chii and his name was Nakano Ryota. So we decided to call him Ryo-chan for short," Yuto explained and Ryoko nodded her head.
Yuuri pretended to look at his watch and gasped loudly.
"Whoa! It's so late already? Time flies!" Yuuri exclaimed and looked at Ryoko.
"I’m sorry, Ryo-chan but we need to go somewhere now. I’ll talk to you next time!"
And he dragged the pair away. After they were out of sight, Ryoko shot Mizuki a death glare.
"I’m really sorry. I was really surprised when you mentioned their names all of a sudden," Mizuki apologized profusely and Ryoko sighed.
"It’s okay. Luckily Chinen-kun came to my rescue earlier on, or else, they might have just recognize me on the spot," Ryoko mumbled.
"So you mean Chinen-kun knows your real identity?" Mizuki exclaimed softly and Ryoko nodded her head slowly.
I wonder how I'm going to face them tomorrow. Yamada-kun seemed to be suspecting.

"Chii, your childhood friend is really pretty and cute!" Yuto complimented and Yuuri did a sweat drop expression.
"If only you knew that she is actually the Ryo-chan you know, I wonder if you'll say the same thing," he thought.
"How did you meet her?" Yuto asked and Yuuri tried to explain.
They were so engrossed in their conversation that they failed to notice Ryosuke was drifting further from them. Ryosuke was buried in his own thoughts.
"That girl…she looks so familiar. Where have I seen her before?" he thought.
Suddenly, the picture of Ryoko wearing the dress with the wig appeared in his mind. He combined the pictures together mentally and his eyes widened.
"Could it be…?!”
