Had a good meeting with my liver surgeon yesterday. He thinks my 'spot' can be removed using keyhole techniques so recovery should be reasonably quick. He has to be sure chemo is well out of my system so scheduling for first two weeks of April.
After that 5/6 weeks recovery then the rest...
At least I have a programme now...

Yesterday was my 80th birthday. Given tiredness with my meds, I'd expected a very quiet day with just my sister dropping in.

A week for me to keep off the roads. The Annual invasion for the Glastonbury Music Festival certainly clog the roads, at least in Wednesday and likely more!

A quiet morning. Pétanque this afternoon with a group we organise then home briefly. Out to a church meeting then home to eat and, no doubt, watch Dragons Den and/ or The Apprentice. That's it!!

My it's hot for the UK today not midday and into the 90s. Overnight can't have been lower than 70.. Should drop off tonight..

I went to a 'Come and Sing' day today led by the composer of the Ukranian Prayer. Did a range of music but spent about three quarters of an hour working on the 'Prayer' very moving. It was made even more special because a guy there had a Unranian wife...

Yesterday was, a big storm here. Cane in during the morning. High winds, lots of trees and fences down around here plus the top of a stone church steeple. Not too many injuries. Today more fifty mile an hour winds Coming in with heavy rain...
