I came across this quotation that I thought very good when people are getting so locked into strange ideas. 'It is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument ' William G McAdoo. Never heard of him...

I once visited the house reputed to be the most haunted in England. It was down a long single track drive. A very old house reputed to be used by smugglers. As we went round, the guide that one chair had belonged to the head smuggler and anyone brave enough to sit in it got trouble. Then asked whether anyone would sit in it...I did.

My youngest grandson came over yesterday to mow our lawn and then to binge the four first episodes of the latest Dr Who series. For my American friends that is a long running series about a time and space travelling Time Lord who regularly updates him/her self. It has been running since B&W days... After two big abdominal operations exactly four weeks apart, now home with nothing more scheduled for now at least!! Just got to go slow and build back strength and muscles.. I don't like slow but no option. The build back is going to be slower than after the first op... But all went well!

Last surgery went well. Recovery has been pretty good. Fit it tells me that some days I've done over 5000 steps, pretty good after that operation.
Good enough to go to step two, I think nastier.. Lots going on this, week in preparation for another operation next Tuesday, exactly four weeks after the first. More keyhole surgery, this time to remove a ( Read more... )

Just to say I am not sure how regularly I will be on next week. In for surgery early Tuesday morning. Hospital for at least a couple of days.. I might be on..
