Liam contacted Desmond, as soon as he'd finished talking to Ryu, and set up the meeting. With another note to Ryu and Santi with the time and date, it was all in place.

He's waiting for them by the front door a good half-hour before the due time.

There was another party last night, as there is almost every night.

Everybody's gone now, or almost. It's just Liam, sprawled out on the couch. He's quite possibly still drunk, and if he's not, he's hungover.

He may never forgive himself for what he's done to Charlie, both perceived and real.
