Worked my first real...honest day's work not for my parents today, over at the Blue Light. Managed not to step on anyone's feet, not to break anything, and to get everyone's orders right. I thought it would be hard, but it was easier than I thought it would be to just memorize everything. And people tipped well ( Read more... ) -

Been fixing up this farmhouse out here a little. It's really pretty; whoever all had it last did a good job with upkeep. It must have meant a lot, I guess. Thinking about setting up some rooms for...I don't know, maybe bed and breakfast type deals or some kind of a hostel for newcomers until they're on their feet.
