Yeah, that was brought up in class. I guess if you're trusting them to stay with you or not cheat that's under commitment, but if you're trusting them to just be them than that's probably intimacy.
Trust is on a deeper level for me than intimacy. I can know all I want about someone, be as familiar as possible with every little quirk, and still not trust them.
Commitment isn't even necessarily relevent to trust. There are perfectly functional polygamous relationships where trust is the glue that holds it all together. That's never gonna be me, but commitment=trust is not necessarily the case.
i must say that commitment is more important to me now than it ever was before. i look at commitment on the same level as perserverance; no matter how hard it can get at times, i want someone who is as willing as i am to make sacrifices and walk side by side through hell and back with me if necessary. (not saying dating me is like walking through hell...although it probably has been for some and to those people, i sincerely apologize).
also, why can i not put in an apostrophe? it keeps bring up my search function whenever i try. grrrr.

Trust is one that's definitely missing from that list.

Well then, I guess which of those three choices is the most important? (Even if trust is more important than the rest.)
