bess passed away yesterday. she was and always will be my beloved daughter.

I think I'm experiencing what hell must be like and I'm not liking it.

I cry at random intervals throughout the entire day, I desperately want to smoke, I can't stop criticizing myself for the reflection I see in the mirror, and I feel lonely, panicky, and, at times, suicidal.

I am still me, just with two fewer inches of my digestive tract in place. The doc said the part they took out looked really, really bad, so I'm glad it's gone and am hoping to have an easier time with digestion in the future.
