I hate the word "deserving." It doesn't mean anything. It carries meaning, of course, but it doesn't make any sense. How can you deserve something? Do you deserve "good" things because you are "good"? Why? What makes these things any more yours than they are anyone else's? Do you deserve punishment when you are "bad"? I just realized that I forgot to update it in this journal! I got my invitation and...

I'm going to the Dominican Republic!!! September 5th I'll be leaving for Miami, September 7th I'll be leaving for the DR and working in community health. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

So last night I was perusing the internet and I decided to check out this old online journal that I created while I was at West GA. As it turns out, it still exists! And I was hilarious! I wish I were still that funny :-).
